Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Lanikea. The view, in person, is far better than it appears in the photos. While the apartment and furnishings are showing signs of wear (the building is 20 years old!), it was meticulously clean upon our arrival. It was well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and all the cookware we required. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the ocean (3 to 4 blocks) and most everything else in Waikiki. The staff and residents were friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It has more of a residential feel than vacation rental. The pool and hot tub are very nice and often we were the only ones using them. The management company responded to a couple of minor inquiries/requests promptly. Kudos to Luana Hawaii Property management. The apartment does come with two parking spots (which we did not avail ourselves of). We would love to stay here again if we visit Waikiki in the future. The best compliment I can say about this apartment and building is that, if we had the financial resources to do so, we would seriously consider purchasing here at Lanikea. Mahalo
