Summary: The property was like that of a distant family member, versus an accommodating short-term rental property. The HVAC control module was fully functional (the display not operating properly). The hot water heater was faulty, needing to maintenance on 3 different occasions (initial failure just prior to arrival. The closets and refrigerator were not fully cleaned out prior to arrival, so there was not sufficient room to store clothing or groceries. The bathrooms were functionally cleaned, but water spots (calcium/mineral buildup on glass) were quite visible in one of the three full bathrooms. Owners provided that this was their principal residence, which was very apparent, given the property provided a very "lived-in" feel. The property has great potential, but with a little more attention to detail and TLC (tender loving care), the property could be stellar. It certainly felt a little overpriced, given the condition of the property. Most definitely not worth the per-night charge.
