Welcome to Lucky Pines Getaway!
This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom log cabin sleeps 6 comfortably and is located 10 minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes from Ellijay. As you enjoy the scenic drive to the cabin you will find all paved two-lane roads making it an easy ascent for even the most timid driver. The gravel driveway has plenty of parking for 5+ vehicles. The wrap around porch and covered entryway welcome you to your home away from home.
Once you enter the cabin you will find the dining room to your left which opens to the living room complete with a wood burning gas assist fireplace and smart TV. The vaulted ceilings and views of the mountains will truly take your breath away. Across from the dining room you will find the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas stove and oven, a prep island, and just about anything you may need to whip up that perfect mountain meal.
Beyond the kitchen you will find the main level, queen sized, bedroom complete with a smart TV and a full bathroom. Both this bedroom and the main level living area open through French doors onto the covered screened in porch, perfect for taking in that fresh mountain air. There you can rock your worries away in one of the 4 rocking chairs or sit back and relax on the comfy outdoor sofa and chairs -- or even take a nap in the chaise lounge while listening to the faint gurgle of the water feature.
Returning to the living area from the porch, you will see the staircase that takes you up to the master suite. This oasis features a king-sized bed, smart TV, sitting room (perfect for taking in the view while curled up with a book), master bath, and an oversized walk-in closet.
You will find the staircase to the lower level in the kitchen. Downstairs, the first room you enter is the game and movie den where the 58” Smart TV is perfect for binge watching your favorite series or revisiting some old but favorite DVDs. This space also features a gas log fireplace, a comfortable seating area, a pool table, and lots of table games to enjoy.
Beyond the den, you will pass the house’s laundry room to your right as you enter the 3rd cabin bathroom which also opens to the lower-level bedroom with queen bed, smart TV, and large closet. Both the den and bedroom open through French doors onto the covered lower deck which features a 6-person hot tub along with outdoor seating.
And as if that isn’t enough, we have saved the best for last! Off the main back porch, you will find a gas grill and steps leading to a covered deck where ample seating surrounds a wood burning, gas assist fireplace and overlooks the stunning long-range mountain views!

Summary: We decided to have a family getaway to Blueridge for Christmas. We love coming to the Georgia mountains because it’s an easy drive from Atlanta. This cabin was spectacular! There was plenty of room and we were especially happy that it was decked out for Christmas so we were able to put our gifts under the tree! The kitchen was well equipped and there wasn’t anything lacking in terms of utensils, pot, pans, etc. I was able to prepare a standing rib roast for Christmas dinner courtesy of the available meat probes! The only misfire was a missing remote in one of the bedrooms but we picked up a universal remote at Walmart which was just up the road in Ellijay. We appreciated the dining recommendations the hosts provided and we had an amazing dinner at The Black Sheep. There was plenty of firewood and we made use of the fireplace. We had a great time and we would definitely come back again!
