Surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields. l’Ormeau offers an ideal combination of a relaxed and active holiday.

The Villa is situated in a small residential village of Cambieure in the countryside just outside the town of Limoux, 30 minutes from Carcassonne.

Summary: The property itself is large enough for 4 adults and has all the necessary facilities(eg kitchen equpment bed linen etc) for an easy stay. The one restriction is the bathrooms. There is one well equipped bathroom adjactent to the two bigger , double bedrooms. The other comprises just a shower and toilet. It lacks a bath and wash hand basin and is located adjacent to the downstairs utility room and a smaller twin bedroom. The big asset of the property is its garden, which has a decent size unheated swimming pool, a large heated jacuzzi , a Weber barbeque and plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, some under a canopy ideal for inclement weather. The slight disappointment was the isolation of the property. We had expected it to be rural but had imagined it to be closer to village amenities. Instead we found that we needed to drive everywhere, even for bread in the mornings. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our week there. I would also like to compliment the owner: we originally booked in 2020 but had to postpone twice owing to covid restrictions. The owner honored our booking, our originally deposit and did not inflate the pricefor inflation. It is good to deal with trustworthy people.
