The open-concept layout provides sightlines from front to back and encourages quality time spent together. The mid-level consists of two spacious queen bedrooms, one of which has access to a covered deck. Both bedrooms include ensuite baths for plenty of privacy. For additional sleeping arrangement options, the loft is furnished with two twin beds with trundles - perfect for kids. Downstairs, the rec room provides another space for gathering and is equipped with a foosball table for around-the-clock indoor entertainment. Summary: The property is in a great location - close to everything you would need - and has a great community pool. This was our first time in OBX with our 1 year old and it was perfect. I would say that we got our workouts in with the amount of stairs and the layout of the house. The house is technically 4 floors and the layout is a bit odd with the bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the kitchen/living room on the 3rd floor. Definitely something to note if someone has limited mobility or bad knees. I do wish the property had been a bit cleaner. The property is dog-friendly (we brought our pup) so a little bit of dog hair was to be expected but there was a lot of it on the living room rug and floor. The living room floor also didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned, we could see a lot of dust bunnies and even items from previous guests left behind under the couch (the couch isn’t super low to the ground so it was easy to see). Unfortunately, my husband also saw a roach one evening, assuming it came from one of the air vents on the floor. Overall, we would recommend the house and we would definitely come back but would likely request an extra bit of detail in the cleaning beforehand.
