Positive: Highly recommend staying at Mouras Resort. The apartments are like small houses, so well equipped with beautiful, private back yards. They get cleaned daily and there are only 5 apartments in the resort so it is really peaceful and private. The pool is gorgeous, quite large and has adequate shade around it to play with kids, even in the heat of the day. Our favourite time of day was breakfast though - Nina, Mourula and Pandelis are so kind, warm and generous and the food is delicious. My daughter absolutely loved seeing them every morning and they even bought her a brand new high chair to make breakfast easy and comfortable. The resort is a 5 minute easy walk to Livadi beach, restaurants and supermarkets. You can also get the public bus or AstyBus (like uber) up to the Chora - approx 5 minute drive. If you rent a car or bike, each apartment has a private garage for easy, shaded parking. We spent 4 weeks at Mouras resort and it genuinely felt like a home. We will definitely be returning next time we visit beautiful Astypalaia.
