Summary: First let me say, we had a great time & had no major issues with the house, although it is not in the best neighborhood. Booked this for my birthday. I lived in Nashville 37 years & recently moved an hour away. I wanted to do an overnight trip with my girlfriends but I wanted a hot tub & a nice house to hang after dinner out. We arrived on a Saturday after severe storms the previous days. The back of the house was in disarray. The hot tub was half uncovered & the other half was full of water. All of the furniture cushions were scattered across the yard. No one had checked the property prior to our stay. The owners had been very responsive until I told them there were a few things off & they did not respond. My sister opened the refrigerator & THE DOOR FELL OFF. I didn't bother telling the owners as they never responded to my initial correspondence about the outside of the property. The inside of the house was clean except the laundry room which we did not use anyway. The house is an older house that has been updated. The rooms are small but the dining area & the master bedroom were very nice. We all loved the community dressing room, it was fun to get ready together. The master bedroom has several cute photo ops. The property listing says it sleeps 9, but it is not very forthcoming about the bed situation. There is one king in the master bedroom and 2 trundle beds in a small bedroom. It is too small to pull out both trundle beds so we had to move one mattress to the dressing room floor. It has a fold out couch that can sleep 2. We all split the cost of the rental & I felt bad about the sleeping arrangements since everyone contributed. The hot tub was nice & we all had a great time. It is a 4 person hot tub but we made it work & everyone was drinking at that point so no one really cared that we were crammed in it. The location is about 20 minutes from downtown so I feel like the owners should update the listing to reflect the actual distance & consider Nashville traffic. I used to live in Donelson & that WAS 10 minutes from downtown about 10 years ago. Now it is 15-20. This house is further from downtown than my old house was. As I mentioned the neighborhood is not the best, but we did not have any safety issues & we felt comfortable in the back yard while in the hot tub. It has an embankment that provides privacy & there is a privacy fence on the left in the back. I would not rent here again, but it was within our budget & we had fun.
