Summary: The location is great with sweeping views of the lake, a beautiful walking beach in both directions and easy access to hiking trails. The house is very attractively furnished and extremely comfortable, with a great layout that maximizes the truly spectacular views and beautiful sunsets over the water. All in all, a delightful place to stay. A few concerns: The kitchen which, while well-appointed otherwise, had only minimal cookware of aluminum and scratched teflon. Not ideal if you plan on doing alot of cooking. The house was clean overall but cleaners missed a few areas such as grimy oven and oven pan, and outdoor grill and food remnants on the back porch. Night-time lighting was a little scanty in the main living-room area. Despite these minor draw-backs, the house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We were late in checking out and expected a small sur-charge, but were, in fact, charged a wildly exorbitant amount for the time. That was an unpleasant surprise.
