Positive: We liked that the cottage had its own driveway and garden, with a private entrance. Despite being attached to other properties, it was very quiet and secluded. Plenty of lovely walks nearby and it was easy to get into Richmond, both on foot and by car. The cottage was bigger than we expected! Our dog loved it too. There was a lovely welcome pack and it was good to get a text from the owner just before we arrived, wishing us a pleasant stay. It was cosy and comfortable with lots of books, maps and games available. A stunning location to which we hope to return.
Negative: Hard to find anything we didn't like, except that we found the duvets a bit too warm. But then it was an unseasonably warm October week, so I'd imagine they'd be fine in cooler weather.
Summary: A lovely week in a wonderful cottage and location. We hope to return!
