UNIQUE Home with lots of hardwood throughout, lofted carpeted bedroom with queen size bed, pellet stove in great room, full kitchen , full bath. A second open sleeping area ( not a private bedroom ) with full size bed is on first floor. Sleeps 2 or 4 in beds. ( Plus 1 on Futon upon request.) Situated on 18 acres is the house, orchards, woods and ponds. Free to explore the entire estate. Excellent for bird watching or wildlife viewing.
Peach, Pear and Apple Orchard on Ashland and Wayne county border. Small hobby orchard surrounded by woods and farm land. 1.5 acre stocked pond with pavilion and fire pit. Also have a fire pit in the fenced back yard. Mowed hiking paths around property can be used for bird and wildlife watching :Deer, Turkey, Woodcock, Pheasant ,Rabbit.
Fishing can be done without a license. Bring your own equipment. Firepit with wood is provided. (Two mountain bikes and/or axe throwing upon advance notice). Corn hole , horseshoes, board games, puzzles available.
We accept most pets. We reserve the right to accept or decline pets based on breed and weight. You are renting the original part of our building. You can add the rear addition building with two bedrooms and second bath , and second kitchen. In all can sleeps up to 10 /12 in 3 bedrooms plus the 2nd floor common room. PLEASE NOTE WHOLE HOUSE WITH FIRST FLOOR ENTRY CAN BE AVAILABLE AT ADDITIONAL COST TO GIVE YOU EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE ENTIRE PROPERTY. (See HA 9136298 for pictures of the rear rental. )
This is a great place to host a small meeting , family reunion, small wedding party.
Surrounded by other orchards, soybean and corn fields. Great views of sunrises and sunsets. 15 minutes north to Ashland via 89 to 250; 15 minutes east to Wooster via 89 to 30; 15 minutes south to Loudonville via 89 to 95 to 60; 20 minutes west to Mansfield via 89 to 30. 3 wineries and 3 golf courses within 15 to 20 minutes. 25 minutes to Snow Trail ski resort.
We have good well water but we stock spring and bottled water for our guests. Heating is natural gas forced air. Very comfortable throughout not drafty. Nice natural light during the day and well lite interior at night.
Archery Hunting on a limited basis can be arranged. Our deer season is Oct. through Jan. Call to discuss. Possible of leasing other property in the area available for hunting.
