Recently renovated bungalow in Northgate Park, a quiet & welcoming neighborhood! This home was built in 1940 and has plenty of character with modern updates & colorful decor. Original pine flooring, open floor plan, new kitchen & gas range, deck, fenced yard & seasonal swimming pool, washer/dryer, ATT Fiber Internet, Smart TV, two blocks from Greenway Trail & Park, a short walk to the Museum of Life & Science, and 2 miles (5 min drive) from some of the best restaurants & amenities in Durham.
Little Acorn bungalow is approximately 1150 sq ft with an open concept in the main living areas. Although this home has been remodeled with several modern updates, there is still plenty of original character including pine flooring. The main living space has a couch, two cozy recliners, and a large TV with Roku (Netflix, HBOMax, and Prime are provided though you can log-in to other apps as well). There is a dedicated workspace in the dining room and high speed AT&T Fiber internet.
The pool was fully remodeled in April 2023. It is open from May through late September each year. The pool is in-ground and depth ranges from 4ft to 8ft. It is professionally serviced each week to balance the chemicals and perform a deep clean. It is a wonderful amenity during the hot & humid NC summers.
The backyard is fully fenced and has a large deck, patio table, lounge chairs, and gas grill.
The main bathroom & 1/2 bath are narrow. This is typical of homes in the 1940s.
There is one security camera at the front door and another at the front gate. They are on 24/7 including during your stay. There are NO cameras inside the home or directly near the pool.
