Summary: Myself and family have been visiting Calpe for many many years now but our first time staying at this hotel on a last minute break. We would definitely come back! Had everything we needed and our room & balcony were huge with a fantastic sea view! Breakfast was adequate and pool was usually quiet so we could get sunloungers no problem (early June stay). It is about 10-15 min walk from the Main Street in Calpe but that meant that round our hotel was quiet 😊 we have previously stayed at Gran Hotel Sol Y Mar 3 times but as lovely as it is (and don’t get me wrong there is a big difference) but I don’t know if it’s worth more than double the cost of here! Parking around the hotel is in the ‘orange zone’ which is free all through May & June or there is the salinas land which you can park for free on only a 15 min walk away too. We had a couple of facilities issues with the air con & hairdryer but both were dealt with the same day we reported them- we will return here for sure!
