Summary: Variety of shopping and eating around the hotel was great. The hotel itself was ok…just ran down. The reason for the poor score is, hotel staff came in and out of the room (not housekeeping) multiple times without communicating. We could not get a clear answer as to why they went in the first time. The second was to remove the C02 detector (first thing in the morning while we were in pajamas), then entered again in the afternoon while we were gone. This was all within 24 hours. I spoke with the assistant GM Nat. Who thought me being upset by this was funny. She told me they were doing routing maintenance and were not sure how many more times the would be in and out and they weren’t required to inform us. She also stated hotels weren’t required to let us know. Those are just the entries I knew about…being that it was just us 2 females traveling, we felt unsafe with random men letting themselves in and out of the room.
