Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath house nestled in the beautiful Misty Mountains of Boone, NC.
Whether spending a weekend with friends or a week with the family, there are plenty of things to do. Hiking Elk Knob State Park (10 miles), sightseeing the Blue Ridge Parkway, gorgeous waterfalls (my favorite is Crabtree falls) Grandfather Mountain with the amazing “Mile-High Swinging Bridge,”, area ski slopes, or even shopping in the nearby charming city of Blowing Rock. Appalachian State University is a mere 15 minute drive as is Eclectic Downtown Boone.
At the end of the day, relax outside on the large deck manning the grill or hanging around the firepit surrounded by trees and rhododendrons. The sight is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are turning.
The house sleeps 6 (3 queen bed). There is a maximum guest capacity of 6. There is a fully functioning large kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave) with basic necessities. There is a coffee pot with both drip & kcups with coffee and tea provided. There is a breakfast nook that can double as a desk as needed. The dining room table seats 6. In the living room there is a smart tv, free wifi, a gas fireplace, & window AC Spring-Fall. The master bedroom has window AC Spring-Fall. The master bathroom has a large standing shower and a deep soaking tub. There is also a washer and dryer available.
We have a few exterior cameras and a ring camera on the outside of front doorway. They are used to protect you, our guest and us the host. We promise that the use of the cameras and its data will only be used for the sole purpose of protecting and securing our property. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and can result in full forfeiture of the remainder of the reservation and possible eviction.
For guests arriving in the winter, please be mindful of the weather. The private steep gravel road is not maintained by the city and could possibly be covered in ice. It is not recommended for vehicles without four wheel drive or chains. It is highly suggested you secure travel insurance.
THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOME. This includes vaping and cannabis no exceptions.

Since there are multiple steps to get to the house, it is not recommended for anyone who may find this difficult.
NO ANIMALS in the house or on the property permitted. This property is not suited for visiting animals. As mentioned above, we do have neighbors and they have animals. As friendly as they are with people, I cannot guarantee the safety of animal brought onto the property. If this is important to you than I would suggest something that fits your needs better than my home.
