Between Cahors and Montauban you will find our very private holiday home, at the end of a dead end road you turn left and you are surrounded by nature, where silence and peace are still normal.
We, Jos and Anke van der Mijl, found our dream home in France in 2009 in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, just over the border of the department of the Lot. We were immediately sold after seeing this beautiful spot! The space and tranquility, the beautiful hilly landscapes and a large lake adjacent to our own estate make this place very special and private. At the end of a cul-de-sac, where now and then only the farmer drives along on his tractor, it is wonderful to enjoy the silence.

This house in Poujol was phenomenal. An impressive location with beautiful views, an extremely authentic and character house and a garden as beautiful and romantic as from a French 60-70 movie with beautiful overhanging trees and a variety of nice places and corners in the garden, as well as a beautiful and very attractive covered terrace on a loft. The house stands in a place in eternity in a beautiful region where there is much to see. The days can be endless because of the silence and the peace is indescribable. In addition, host and - woman are indescribably hospitable and ready for everything and are very involved, while still leaving all the privacy and space to the visitor. Never before has there been so good care. Just experiencing sunrise and sunset is a wonderful experience every day in this place. Perhaps the nicest and nicest holiday home we have ever stayed. The only drawback of the house is that you actually want to live on departure.

2016 was a top holiday for us! Beautiful spacious cottage (the 6 person) at the end of a dead end road (rest!), with a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms for a gite, lovely large veranda to stay. Nice shone! swimming pool where the children (6 and 8) have optimally entertained. Very quiet location, but within fifteen minutes you are on the highway, on your way to your day out. Can continue for a while, but we are full of praise. And Last but not least, of course the owners Jos and Anke ... 2 lovely sweet people where you immediately feel welcome and at home, are always there for you, with practical things, tips, and facts about life in FR so you immediately wants to sell everything in NL and ...... We happened to arrive last minute with our two kids in the Pujol holiday cottage. Even though it was a gamble for us, we have never complained from the very first minute to the last! A warm welcome and we immediately felt at home in the well-kept and charming cottage. The location was perfect. In an Oasis of peace and yet very centrally located, ideal for different day trips to the charming villages in the region! We were always able to call on the experience and tips that we received from the sympathizers Jos and Anke! For our children, the lovely pool was an absolute surplus! I can recommend this lovely little place to everyone who wants to immerse themselves in peace and quiet in a southern French atmosphere.
Do not forget to taste the delicious homemade pizzas from the brick oven;)

Dear Jos and Anke Last night we were not long jams around 23. 00 hours. On behalf of the whole family, I want to thank you for the nice holiday week that we could keep with you. My wife and I recovered from the peace and quiet and the children have a great time, the pool, the trampoline, the hammock and the horses were fun activities.
