Summary: This was my first visit to Astana, and staying at Hotel Rixos President Astana left me deeply impressed. The hotel has been around for nearly 30 years, yet it is still in outstanding condition—elegant, spotless, and extremely well cared for. While not the most modern in design, it offers everything you could want in a five-star stay, delivered with remarkable consistency. The service is world-class. Staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, setting a standard of hospitality that surpasses many luxury hotels I’ve stayed in across Central Asia. When compared with top properties such as InterContinental Almaty, Hyatt Regency Tashkent, Hyatt Regency Bishkek, or even the Fairmont Baku, Rixos Astana stands out not only for its service but also for the value it offers at its price point. The Hamam spa was a highlight. The Indonesian ladies providing treatments deliver exceptional skill and care—it felt like a true experience rather than just a service. Equally impressive was the breakfast buffet, which offered everything from fresh fruit and pastries to Asian and European specialties, all beautifully presented and delicious. The all-day menu also reflects this balance of international flavors, making dining here a pleasure.
