Three steps lead up through the large gate into holiday residence, furnished in true Mallorcan style, complete with high ceilings and cool marble floors. Entering the hall you are greeted by antique, typical Mallorcan furnishings; an imposing staircase with an exquisite wooden banister leads up to three air-conditioned bedrooms. On the first floor, two double beds fit for a prince await in two of the bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, baths with showers and balcony access as their crowning glory. The third upstairs bedroom with its two single beds and its downstairs shared shower room, also used by bedroom No. 4, is of course no match for these princely suites, but still very cosy. With its warm wooden furnishings the large living/dining room with direct access to the terrace is just as welcoming, and the well-equipped country style kitchen with breakfast area and stone BBQ is likewise only a few steps from the outdoor dining area. Despite its popularity as a Mallorcan second home location, Ca´s Concos des Cavaller is a pleasantly calm little town; remains of the Talayot culture can be found in the hilly countryside, reminiscent of Tuscany, that surrounds Santanyí, Es Carritxó and S'Alqueria Blanca, which has always been an area artists felt particularly drawn to. But it is just as attractive to people who love the countryside AND the sea, as beaches such as Caló de sa Torre, Sa Barca Trencada or Cala Mondragó (12 km), which are not yet too overrun, offer a varied (under)water world. If you prefer the hills, you should take the approximately 2-hour hike up to the monastery on Puig de San Salvador near Felanitx, which offers stunning panoramic views.
