Ideal for a quick getaway or extended visit to Northern Michigan, our cottage is located on a secluded, wooded lot with all the conveniences of home to enjoy your time away. Enjoy relaxing in the spacious outdoor lounge areas. The home features include kitchen appliances, WiFi, basic cable, washer/dryer, plus a beautifully decorated and furnished interior that exemplifies "Michigan Lake Living". One has a bunk bed; one bedroom has a daybed with trundle and the master suite has a large queen-size bed with a sliding glass door to the deck overlooking the beautiful Lake.
For the outdoor enthusiast, we also offer a stone fire pit, lakeside porch with several seating areas, 2 kayaks, 1 paddle boat, and a 30' dock for easy lake access. The home sits on Spider Lake which is a great inland lake for fishing and all kind of water sports! The water's edge at the property is not the best for swimming or wading, but if swimming is what you are looking for, just grab a kayak and paddle to one of the sandbars close by!
Being so close to Traverse City, you will be able to explore downtown and the surrounding areas within minutes. Enjoy the festivals, the theater, beaches, the TART trail, wine tasting, Turtle Cove Casino, farmer's market, and the amazing restaurants just to name just a few options for your vacation!
Spider Lake is located in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. This lake is 459 acres in size. It is approximately 36 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Yellow Perch.

Rental Policy:
- No smoking or fireworks are permitted
- Two dogs are okay upon approval (2 max)
- $150 Non-refundable pet fee per pet (Fee is not included in the room rate and will be charged separately for Airbnb guests after booking.)
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25
All reservations are subject to the terms, conditions, and fees of the guest agreement as outlined under house rules. Reservations will be charged a $500 REFUNDABLE security deposit at the time of booking. If no damage is found, the security deposit will be refunded within one week of check-out. If damages exceed the $500 security deposit, the credit card on file will automatically be charged. Invoices and receipts are to be provided to the guest. Guest reservations are powered by Streamline Vacation Rental Software and the DACK APP. Guests will need to download the DACK APP in order to access the property's guestbook.
