Summary: We rented this home so that we could host our North Carolina relatives while we were visiting from California, and had a wonderful, long evening gathering. We were 17 altogether, ranging in age from 1 to 64. We had hoped to celebrate in the shaded backyard area, but the heat kept most of the party indoors. The backyard is as inviting as it looks in the photos, and the home itself is so comfortable and airy, with space for a large group to sit at the dining room table, places to play with kids of different ages, and plentiful toys and games provided by the hosts. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked with bakeware, dishes, and utensils. There were nice touches like snacks and treats to be discovered. The indoor air quality is fantastic. This trip, the home was only available for 2 nights, and we did not sleep in the house, but every bedroom was so inviting we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.
