Summary: Checkin instructions were very easy. That was the only positive. House was 84 degrees when we arrived. Owner came in and installed a window unit in one bedroom. Finally cooled down the next evening after a temperature drop outside. No ice (or ice trays) or waterline in refrigerator; no washer/dryer as mentioned. No hair dryer as mentioned. No glassware or even mugs in kitchen. Left an open stack of solo cups in a cupboard. Master shower didn’t work. One set of toiletries for both bathrooms. The backyard was not a blissful retreat. Overgrown, nowhere to sit except cement stairs down to the weeds. Very sparse furniture inside and no lamps beside beds or drawers to put clothes. Duvets did not have a cover on them so not sure if they were clean. Floors were filthy and there was something spilled and sticky near the dining room table. House was just in poor shape and a bit falling apart. Couldn’t even open the dishwasher but a few inches because the oven was in the way. Only one closet in hallway for all guests to use. Was very quiet but could have been the window unit drowning out any sirens from the neighborhood.
