Positive: Location is fantastic if you know how to find it. Once you find it, it is fabulous. right next door to staircase and very pretty daytime and night time. Loved the canal view and do it if you can. You get the benefit of everyone hiring gondolas with singers and you get to hear all of the singes. Apartment if very functional and has everything you need. one bedroom and small kitchen/living room, but perfect for a couple. LIght system is strange in hallways, but that is European. I would stay here in a heartbeat. Only two things - 1) you really can't find the place by yourself and they charge $40 if you get there after 8pm. I was there before 8pm but couldn't find the place. The person meeting me finally found me, but it was 8:15 by the time she reached me so I had to pay $40. not a nice charge since I was in communiction with her at all times prior to 8:00. 2) you have to take out the garbage and separate it by 4 categories. That is too much for a vacation and it is not as simple as taking it downstairs. YOu need a map. And while it was pretty simple to find if you are trying to get to the Rialto bridge, you don't know that when you walk and with luggage and everything, it was added stess that you just don't need. With those things said, I would rent there again.
