Positive: These were 2 wonderful days in Salerno! The owner Stefania met us in her car at the station. At home we were also met by the owner's son Giorgio. We were given the keys and explained in detail how to use everything. The apartments are very spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything and even cereal for breakfast! The owner treated us to a very tasty casserole with ham and eggplant. We were sent all the necessary information links for our further journey along the Amalfi Coast. The port from where the ships leave for Positano is a 20-minute walk away. There is a good grocery store and many cafes nearby. The bus stop is 30 meters away. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. We were late for the bus to Naples and Stefania took us to the station again. Stefania, Giorgio - thank you very much for your warm welcome! Remembering hospitable Salerno, we will always remember you and will recommend your apartments to all our friends! See you! 😘
Negative: Mosquitoes were a bit of a bother in the evenings, but that's only 2 months a year...
Summary: These were the 2 best days of our 14-day Italian trip!
