Hreljići was the center of the whole surrounding area and the parish center for the neighboring villages. The area was inhabited in prehistoric times (hill), Classical (rustic villas) and in the Middle Ages, but Hreljići and other settlements were inhabited during the XVI-XVII century by the refugees from the Ottomans from Dalmatia. Our Lady of Health Church, built in the 1726 probably on an older, one-nave structure with a portico on the front and a distaff with two bells at the top of the gable.
