The apartment was originally the private home of an architect who renewed it with a creative touch and modern solutions within a tipically tuscan building. Old decorative elements such as “capitellos”, the wooden beams and the marvellous decorated frame door are preserved and highlighted by the contrast of modern features. The result is a perfect blend between modernity and tradition in a cozy and elegant atmosphere.
The apartment has open mezzanine spaces created to make the most out of the high ceilings. At the ground floor on the left side there is a cozy tv room that introduces to a bright twin bedroom with a lounge area on the floor and another one with a single bed on the ground floor which is surmounted by an mezzanine with another single bedroom. This area shares a delightful bathroom with shower and separate sinks decorated with exquisite mosaics tiles. On the right hand of the main floor, the guests are welcomed by an amazing living room furnished with 2 elegant couches and a wide table on one side and a smoking room with fireplace and a piano on the other. All the area is lightened by 2 french windows that open to the garden. The dining room has also a big window facing the garden and it is connected to a fully equipped kitchen with its own french window to the garden, perfect to enjoy meals al fresco during the summer under the marvellous “pergola” outside. Between the dining room and the kitchen there is a guest bathroom with shower.
Completing the main floor a small laundry, a bedroom with a french bed and its private bathroom with shower, which is a very convenient solution for a possible service staff accomodation or as additional bedroom for guests.
