Positive: Loved everything about this property. So cosy and perfect for our Christmas visit to Kirkcudbright. Clean, modern & the quality of the textiles and finishes made it feel like a 5* stay. The decorations were beautiful & just the right amount to make it festive. The kitchen was equipped with everything we absolutely everything needed for cooking from essential cookware to bacofoil, cafetière & scales! The snacks left were really thoughtful - popcorn, borders biscuits & even mince pies 🥧 & a gorgeous Lindt bear under the tree for my daughter 🎄 The bathroom had cotton pads, toiletries & all the bits that you need & the walk in shower was glorious. We had access to a dishwasher, washing machine & all the things needed soaps, clothes stands etc. Everything has been thought of in this property. There are even packs of new batteries in the drawer if needed! All electronics & heating easy to use & the information left in the little blue folder was so helpful. Lorna was great and easily contactable if needed. Hoping to get back for summer ☺️
Negative: Nothing! If there was one thing which I’d change it is the tv can only be casted to with android phones. My little one wanted things on Disney+ and I couldn’t get because the Now TV remote wasn’t working ( the device was available & appearing via source on the remote but remote for it didn’t work despite changing batteries). But this is minor, because all free sat channels & Netflix are also available ☺️
Summary: This property is a little gem, perfect location too.
