Summary: The Boathouse was the perfect getaway for me & my family. From the minute we walked in, there was spa music playing, it was immaculate, bright & cheery. The decor was super cute & beachy with lots of fun touches, including a gift bag with Maine treats and a gift card to one of their restaurants, which we enjoyed greatly. And the host recommended a local linen service, which was really convenient. The furniture was comfortable, both indoors & outdoors and although the cottage wasn’t huge overall, they did a great job maximizing the space, including a fantastic well-stocked kitchen and the hosts thought of everything for whatever activities you wanted to do. But of course the main thing was the location - right on the water with spectacular ocean views and a large deck as well as one on the back of the house with gorgeous sunset views of Biddeford Pool. I would highly recommend this property - it was just what we needed to relax and recharge and we hope to return again.
