Summary: The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel extremely welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The pub area was attractive and inviting and the food offerings for dinner and breakfast were excellent. Our rooms were cozy yet luxurious with several thoughtful amenities included. Even though we were in close proximity to Highclere Castle, we elected to take a taxi over there for the tour we booked and back due to fast moving traffic on the nearby roads. We will definitely stay here again when next traveling in the area.
