Welcome to The Cove House! Close to everything East Greenwich has to offer: take advantage of several waterfront bars as well as all of the shopping, restaurants and nightlife on Main St all within an easy three minute walk from the house. Enjoy the walking and horseback riding trails at Goddard State Park, hit Providence Place Mall for amazing shopping or head to Newport to check out the mansions. From the marinas to the golf courses to the beaches there’s something for everyone close by!
We have a two bedroom one bath cape built in 1850. Wireless access and Netflix will be provided to guests and we have a variety of games and books. Window AC units are provided in both bedrooms and the living room during the summer months and ceiling fans are in the kitchen, dining room and the living room. Guests are invited to relax on our outdoor patio set and enjoy the landscaped gardens surrounding the deck.
Please note that the driveway is only large enough for two vehicles. There is free street parking about 100 ft down the road heading towards the water on Queen St, a few blocks up on Marlborough St, along King St and in a paid lot on Main St. DO NOT park on the road anywhere within the neighborhood: you will get ticketed and/or towed. There is absolutely no street parking until you round the corner to the water.
We encourage all guests to recycle. We have a blue recycling bin for bottles and cans as well as a black bin for cardboard/paper next to the sink. If you are staying with us on a Tuesday morning we greatly appreciate you rolling the trash down to the end of the driveway for pickup. Recycling is every other Tuesday so we will reach out if that also needs to be out at the street.
While we do have a washer and dryer available in the unit we ask that you use them responsibly and only when you have full loads.
Our house is located in beautiful but small neighborhood. Our neighbors live full time nearby so we politely ask our guests to respect quiet hours of 10pm-8am on weekdays and 11pm-9am on weekends and holidays.
