Summary: Location of this cabin is great, it is very private to the other cabins. Unsure if this is the case all the time, but there was a shed with free firewood. 15 min to Helen and 5 min to a Dollar General. -Needs more silverware and plates and cups. Has maybe 3 spoons, 3 forks, 2 butter knives, 2 steak knives. About 5 plates and 4 very shallow bowls, could almost be plates. 3 glasses, 2 wine glasses, and 2 wine flutes. -Needs more supplies. We were there for a 6 days: 1 roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 pods for clothes washer, 4 dishwasher pods(with little silverware whatnot we were running the dishwasher everyday), 4 garbage bags with a small garbage can(it fills up quickly). -Fireplace needs a chimney cleaning. The damper full open, visually confirmed open, smoke would still come in the room. -Hot tub, yes it "works". First it needs an external heating element to hang in the water. Second, turn on the hot tub to heat it up. It only runs for maybe 10 minutes before you need to turn it on again to keep heating it up. One night it took 3 hours(multiple times turning it on) to get the water temperature from 80 to 100. It was not even a cold night, it was in the 50s/60s. We were told from property manager, the hot tub part was to be delivered the next day... it was not. Even when we checked out 3 days later, it was still not. I know that it seems like a lot for negatives, but all easily fixable. If your a guest and can be a bit intuitive to figure things out.
