Summary: We stay here quite often. The staff here are excellent. It’s in a good location. There is an indian restaurant on site which serves really good food. The price of a pint of cobra however is £7.50, so not cheap. The bed, bedding and towels are clean. The rooms and hotel are clean. However, property overall is tired. We appreciate it is old, but doors to our bathroom did not close, one of the windows did not shut. If you are in the front of the hotel there is a lot of road noise (I take ear plugs) If you are not looking for 5* luxury you really can’t go wrong.
