Summary: We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals. We had a lovely, en-suite family room with a sea view. There was a sofa and coffee table too which gave us another space to sit, rather than just the bed. Even though there was a busy bar downstairs, we couldn't hear anything upstairs in the bedroom. We weren't disturbed by any noise. A definite bonus when you need your 8 year old to go to sleep!! The staff were exceptional. As I said, we stayed just before Christmas so it was busy with locals and parties but nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Woodvale to anyone and we will be booking again for another stay here! Thank you Steve and the team!
