Positive: I visited this Tropical Oasis, 5 bedroom retreat, with my family of 4 persons, and occupied 2 rooms. It is well located in the Town of Teldeniya, which is in close proximity to the main historical city of Kandy. From the Teldeniya town, the Retreat is approximately 2 km away. The location is nicely situated on top of a hill, so you have a really nice view of the Victoria Reservoir and the surrounding mountains. From the huge balcony, there is plenty of space to relax, read a book and enjoy the day. It's a bit too far to walk to the town, but it's just a short drive with a tuktuk. Each room has its own balcony to view the reservoir. All the rooms are equipped with split A/Cs. & attached bathrooms with hot and cold water showers. Meals are provided on request at reasonable rates. The meals are very delicious too. It also has its own transport services, and to reach the town or pickup from the town is available. The Homestay provides free WiFi throughout the property, and free private parking for guests who drive in. A must go place. The Host Mr.Pramuka, is very friendly and welcoming and provided very valuable information about the surrounding mountain areas of the reservoir. The view from the balcony was an exception, especially to watch the sunset. Overall the Rooms bed, toilets were super clean and comfortable. My ratings are as follows: Rooms: 5/5; Service: 5/5; Location: 5/5.
