Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Excellent directions, with photographs, enabled us to find the secluded villa after sunset, with the help of small lights on poles lighting up as we drove. The aroma of fragrant blossoms greeted us from the garden. The villa is new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The private beach is a very short walk through a eucalyptus lined path. We had a great stay. It is a lovely, peaceful place to rewind and recharge. I liked the La Baguette bakery nearby. Cefalù is only a short drive away, and after looking for parking and being in a bustling city, it was lovely to return to quiet, and peace. .
Negative: I wish there was a ring binder with details like what is available and where. A place to always find the wifi code and password without scrolling through WhatsApp messages. There is a washing machine, but I didn't discover the drying rack (in a cupboard at the back of the property) until the next day, when I didn't need it anymore. We had a problem getting hot water. But it was always there. We just presumed that Hot and Cold was the right direction. But Cold is closer to Calda in Italian which is Hot. Frio is cold. The owners were very responsive, charming, and helpful. It truly is a peaceful, special place.
