Cedarwood has been recently renovated with fenced in yard, new flooring, interior paint, firepit, new downstairs patio, & a 100' dock with a kayak platform! Bring your furbaby & take in the incredible sunsets directly from the expansive private deck... what more could anyone want?! All mattresses, linens, & towels are new & top quality, along with furniture. We have considered every detail to be sure your vacation is a relaxing get away in your home away from home.
Our home is a beautifully constructed 3 bedroom, 2 bath soundfront piece of heaven. Included with your rental are 4 adult beachcruisers, 2 youth beach cruisers & a tandem kayak you can launch from the property. The 100' dock is newer as well with a kayak platform and stairs into the water. Launching the kayak is easy right from the dock! Bring your boat, Dock Street boat launch is a mile from our home. There are also 2 additional timber pilings to moor your boat for easy access. An outside shower is available with brand new showerhead and valve. We've also provided a gas grill & firepit for your outdoor enjoyment. Our romantic soundfront home is an excellent choice to vacation with its proximity to shopping, restaurants, arts, sightseeing, laser tag, boating, fishing, bird watching, jet skiing, surfing, kite boarding & eco tours.
Cedarwood is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, surrounded by bike & walking paths and conveniently less than a mile from the beach. You can bike all the way to Kitty Hawk or the Wright Memorial without accessing the bypass. There are also numerous beach accesses with free parking within a mile from the home.
We have a fully equipped eat in kitchen which includes dishes, cookware, cutlery, barware, & glassware for your every culinary need. Appliances include a blender, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, gas range & dual ovens, toaster, toaster oven, & refrigerator/freezer with ice & water in the door.

Enjoy drinks from the deck while taking in once in a lifetime sunset views. Included in your rental are 4 adult bikes, 2 youth bikes, & helmets. Feel free to explore the bike path that extends north along Bay Drive or head south to the Wright Brothers Memorial. Bike or Walk to local restaurants, ice cream & coffee shops. Provided for water lovers is a tandem kayak. Your options are endless with the many surrounding islands in the sound.
We want you everyone to have a wonderful, relaxing getaway in our Outer Banks home! Part of ensuring the same experience for everyone relies on our housekeepers, inspection personnel, and maintenance repair personnel being able to get the house in tip top shape for you and your family in-between renters. They do a fantastic job of making sure everything is done during a very short window. If anything needs attention during your stay, please let us know so we can arrange for someone to take care of it either during your stay or in preparation for our next guests, whichever your prefer. Check-out time is 10 am and departure instructions are included in your welcome. Check-in time is set for 4 pm to allow them the time they need to prepare the home for your arrival.
We understand that there are times when you may need an early check-in time. We are happy to offer guaranteed early check-in if you have confirmed & paid for this additional service 2 weeks prior to arrival. This payment allows us to compensate our house staff for prioritizing our home for your early arrival at 1 pm.
