Positive: House clean and warm. Well situated for walks and the pub.
Negative: Very strange assortment of chairs. There are not enough chairs, neither dining chairs or comfortable chairs. The long sofa is a waste of space and unusable as nobody wants to sit in a row facing same direction. There's only two armchairs for a house that sleeps six. The seal has gone on woodburner in kitchen area preventing damping it down. The latch fell off during our stay and I had to repair it. The other woodburner in the middle room does not draw, perhaps the chimney needs sweeping. On the whole kitchen was well stocked although could be more pans/different sizes. The touch controls on the hob are a pain to use, it took all four of us to decipher how to get it working. Knobs would be a much better choice for a hob that's going to be used by many people. Never did work out the microwave. All above meant as constructive criticism and minor points. House is lovely on the whole.
Summary: House is comfortable, warm and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again.
