Imagine yourself, sitting in a rocking chair on the screened in porch, sipping your morning coffee or tea, listening to the cry of the loons. All the while, snuggled up with a warm quilt as you breathe in the crisp, clean morning air.
In the evenings you can sit around the fire pit, listening to the crackling embers and gazing up at the stars. Grab a stick and enjoy roasting a hotdog or two and indulge in some smore’s. Or take a walk down to the water as the sun sets, maybe catch a glimpse of the loons as they peek there heads in and out of the water, and listen to the peepers.
By day you can go on beautiful nature walks, relax in a hammock with a good book, bike, run, explore, or head straight to the water! Enjoy all that Highland Lake has to offer. Like to fish? This modest cabin is set back across the street from Highland Lake, with a right away to the lake. The path leads down to a private dock and mooring. There are three bedrooms. The first one is on the ground floor, called the “bunk room”, which holds two sets of bunk beds (four twin beds stacked), and has a full bathroom. The second bedroom is also on the ground floor and holds a queen size bed and has a second full bathroom. The third bedroom is upstairs and holds a queen size bed beneath sky light windows, and a chase lounge couch for relaxing or for additional sleep space for a child. There is a third full bathroom upstairs, which is also equipped with a washer and dryer for your use, along with extra linens and towels if you choose not to bring your own. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and with additional floor fans.
There is a full living room with a couch and two lounge chairs, and there is a screened in porch off the back. The porch has chairs, table, and spectacular views.
The kitchen has a table with four chairs, and offers a refrigerator, electric stove/range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, basic dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and silverware.
Toilet paper and paper towels will be stocked for your use.

Families, small group retreats, hanging out with your buds, get away with your honey, or just time to reflect and rejuvenate alone.
