Summary: My family loved our stay in the centre of Zona Romantica. The unit was very spacious with separate Queen beds for my two large teenagers in one room, and my wife and I sharing a King-sized bed in the other bedroom. The foam mattresses were surprisingly comfortable, even for my old back. The large windows allowed good air flow in the evenings and the A/C kept us cool at night when we closed up for quiet. Overall, the area is quieter than I expected without any loud clubs nearby. Loudest things were cars with music pumping driving by occasionally.The kitchen was nice to have, but we mostly ate out at the many fabulous restaurants and street vendors nearby. The fridge did keep our water cold though. The patio was a nice place to relax. We didn't miss having a pool as the ocean, with great waves, is just a few blocks away.Only wrinkle were the multiple finicky door locks which required just the right touch to operate. However, on check-in, our concierge Edwin came over right away to show us the correct rotations and jiggles to get the keys to work. We had no trouble after that.We travelled south for many activities and used the bus stop only half a block inland. Overall, being in the center of Zona Romantica was a fabulous location for our visit to Puerto Vallarta.
