Positive: Quiet village, well placed to see many of the attractions of Northern Norfolk. The property was possibly once a family holiday home and it feels that way still which is adds to the comfort as you feel you are staying in a well-loved place (including still some 70s crockery). It is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay down to small details like binoculars and maps and ideas of where to go. All adding to a sense of welcome. Friendly neighbours as well.

Negative: The bathroom was a little cold and the heater outside the bathroom didn't seem to work. As the bathroom stands in an extension outside the house that's understandable, but it would be best to fix that heater before the cold really starts. The shower mixer probably needs to be changed as to get the right temperature, even after waiting for the supply to arrive from the tank, it needs the highest setting in order to be warm enough. As it stands outside the wall it would be an inexpensive fix especially if the right cartridge is still available.

Summary: Comfortable, enjoyable and inexpensive cottage in a beautiful part of Norfolk
