Positive: Despite our situation desctibed below, the staff was very nice and the place was beautiful, quiet and clean. We also had the best bed with the softest pillows and bed linen in all hotels in Thailand. We slept like babies.
Negative: We stayed for 1 night before going to Kao sok national park. Checked in right before sunset after a long day of transportation to this area, and when trying to wash our hands, the water did not work. We went to the reception and were told the water tank is empty and that the water is not functioning on one side of the resort and that it will be fixed soon. We went to grab dinner in the nearby town and when we got back, we were told to quickly shower because the water tank is low again and they do not know what is the problem but that a water truck will come in the morning and at 8AM the water will be working. In the morning, the water was still not working so at breakfast (around 8:30) we went to ask whats the problem and the receptionist just went behind the bungalow and plugged the water pump in electricity!
