Summary: Excellent value and feels like a true hidden gem in Florence. It’s clean, updated, and very well managed, with a lot more charm and personality than a standard hotel. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with good storage space, a small fridge, a desk, and a nicely renovated bathroom. Beds were comfortable, and despite being on a tram line, it was very quiet at night — we slept well and never heard other guests. The host and staff were friendly, relaxed, and very accommodating. Communication was quick and clear, including helpful instructions for after-hours check-in when we arrived late, and luggage storage on our departure day was easy. Breakfast looked inviting with a good coffee machine, pastries, breads, and spreads, but we often woke up around 10 a.m., just after breakfast service ended. The location is very convenient: about a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella station in a safe area. The tram stops right outside (two stops if you don’t feel like walking) and goes directly to the airport in around 20 minutes, with a bus stop right outside as well. A great choice for couples or families looking for comfort, character, and easy transport connections in Florence.
