Summary: This property does not meet basic living or safety standards. The bedroom on the lower floor is located beside the furnace, meaning you are effectively sleeping next to where the home’s gas system is distributed. The room also has a very small window that does not appear to meet standard safety requirements. Additionally, there was no smoke detector in the room.The overall condition of the house is poor, with noticeable odors and a general lack of upkeep. Noise travels easily throughout the property—you can hear neighbors and adjacent occupants clearly. Cooking smells from nearby units also carry directly into the room, making it uncomfortable.The host is friendly and checked in a couple of times, which I appreciated. However, when I attempted to cancel my reservation (as I was traveling with two small dogs), I found the policy very restrictive and would have lost 75% of the amount paid.Overall, I am very surprised this property has been approved by Vrbo, as it does not appear to meet basic safety or living standards
