Cozy, quiet neighborhood only two blocks from streetcar. The streetcar line can take you from the French Quarter down the beautiful oak lined streets of St. Charles and Carrollton avenues. Whether you are going to Tulane or Loyola University, Oak street, Jazz fest, Voodoo fest and the many events downtown and in the French Quarter you are centrally located.

Summary: Margot was a pleasure to rent from. She responded quickly to all questions and was up front about any possible issues (the was some road construction on her street). Felt very safe in the neighborhood as it was about 15 minute drive from the French quarter. Never had a problem parking when we drove to the quarter, and taking the streetcar was a breeze as well… there’s an app for that. There were several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance to the house but you could also stay in and cook as the home has anything you need to make a meal. I would recommend bringing bug spray if you want to sit on the porch because the mosquitoes sure did find us tasty. I would 100% recommend this house to the family that wants to visit NOLA but doesn’t need to be in the middle of it all. I would definitely stay here again if I came to visit.
