Positive: The cottage was in a very rural location & wonderfully quiet too. The check-in experience with the owner was wonderful, as I was given a quick guided tour of the property. The property itself was clean & comfortable (in the main) & had a generous amount of toys, board games & places to see leaflets as well as menus for local takeaways. The kitchen was so well stocked with glasses, mugs & crockery. Cutlery & other kitchen utensils were supplied in abundance too. In the over sink cupboard of the downstairs bathroom, some items for ladies at a certain time of the month were supplied - never had that before - which was amazing!! The garden was very spacious, with table & chairs on one side of the garden & a bench to sit on round the other side. We stayed for 3 nights but would happily go back & stay for 5 nights. Maybe a whole week even. A place that is good for families with small children, but also, for small groups of family & friends. The owners Alison & Paul were both wonderful hosts & it'd be so nice to see them again. Finally, please note, that dogs are not permitted.
Negative: Having to leave ☹️
