Positive: The host, Doris, was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast (including homemade items that varied from day to day) was superb. The hotel's location was stunning and you could see the dramatic landscape in every direction. We loved sitting on the balcony watching swifts and martins swoop by. Getting lost in the higgledy piggledy streets of Peyreleau was magical. The Hermitage was so characterful, both the building itself and the large collection of art and sculpture it housed. The area is a nature lover's paradise from hooting owls to howling wolves to soaring vultures. There are shops and restaurants a short walk away in Rozier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
