Positive: We spent winter holiday week in Ferienwohnung Holzer. The apartment was perfect for 4 people. 2 slept in a sleeping room and 2 adult children on a rather large sofa-bed in living room. Main room is kitchen with a large table and generally all equipment we needed. Toilet and bathroom are located at the end of a central hall which is fine because it ensures that sounds from these rooms are not to be heard in other parts of the apartment. For the downhill skiing we went by car to Katschberg. It was ca. 8 km. For the cross-country skiing we had to go a bit further (10-25 km) because there was not enough snow in the valley despite the fact that the valley is above 1 000 meter high. But there were very well prepared cross-country ski trails (loipen) so we enjoyed them and the outdoor activity. Just remember that local restaurants (except on the slopes) usually close around 14:30 and open again around 17:00. So if you come late for lunch you may have to either wait or go and by something in a shop. We recommend staying in Ferienwohnung Holzer to everyone.
