Perfect for a couple wishing to spend a weekend or longer just enjoying the country landscape within the Scenic Rim or more actively engaging in watersports, horseriding, bush walking, mountain climbing, golf and so much more.
Located within a working beef cattle business of Dugandan Droughtmasters. There are horses and cattle grazing at all times in adjoining paddocks.
The Dugandan Pub is just 3 klms away for casual meals and a courtesy bus which for no charge will pick you up and drop you back should you decide to have a few drinks. Quality dining is available in town and at Austin House and at the nearby Karoomba Winery
A horse arena, round yard and horse paddocks are available for use by guests wishing to bring horses to the country for a change of scenery
Also available is sofa bed and stretchers or swag for an extra charge of $50 per couple which covers the laundering of extra linen & towels.

Summary: Our stay was okay overall, however there were a couple of things that impacted the experience. There was no WiFi available. While it may not have been specifically listed, in this day and age it’s generally something guests expect, so it would be helpful to clearly state in the listing if there is no WiFi so expectations can be managed.Additionally, during our stay the farmer was separating calves from their mothers, and the distress calls were very audible and quite upsetting to experience. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere at times.I would suggest either informing guests in advance if this is scheduled to occur during their stay, or reconsider hosting guests on those particular days so visitors can make an informed choice.
