Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It’s a beautiful old house of the Showa era, and it gives a real feeling for the culture of that time. It also has a few entirely modern conveniences which we were less interested in :-) but for people like us who really are interested in the Japan of the mid 20th century, it’s an absolutely delightful stay

Negative: It was difficult to find, though I should’ve paid better attention to the email instructions. The signage is very small. Mark it on a map if you book it!

Summary: Like staying in a typical family house from 60 years ago, lovely!
