Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Superbly located, not far from the ferries to Dartmouth, with a stunning view over the local scenery with Kingswear, River Dart, Dartmouth and the woodland around. Amazing property with plenty of bedrooms and comfi living rooms and a large kitchen. The house extends over several floors and even contains several terraces.

Negative: For German standards the beds were too soft. This seems to be a general phenomenon in England. The upstairs bathroom was tiny. The last ferry from Dartmouth ran at eleven pm. So we couldn t have much of a nightlife over in Dartmouth on a Saturday. Also, bus connections to and from Kingswear respectively Dartmouth were rare and terminated early in the evening. That s also something you have to take into account when holidaying in Devon.
