Positive: 1. The apartments are large in size, especially the huge living-dining room. There are two separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen. The living room has access to the balcony. 2. The apartment is cozy and fairly clean. The beds are comfortable. 3. The owner Ahmed is very friendly, he personally met and saw us off and tried to help us organize our trip. Due to him we ordered a hot air balloon flight (10-15 minutes drive to the take-off point from the apartment), an individual taxi for two days to both banks of Luxor and a taxi to the airport. But the price needs to be negotiated, the initial prices are a little too high. 4. The area around it looks pretty safe for tourists, although no police are visible here. The public ferry to the east bank (it stops right in front of the Luxor Museum) is a 10-minute walk away. The ferry waits 15 minutes after arrival, usually there are a lot of people. Private boats can take you to any other point on the east bank for a much higher fee. There are no European supermarkets on the west bank (although we have not seen them on the east bank either), but there are small grocery stores within walking distance. 5. I had my doubts, but we didn't regret staying on the west bank. You live much closer to all the main attractions, except the Karnak Temple, and we took a taxi to the airport in just 20 minutes (although they often write that it's at least 40-50 minutes). And it's quiet and peaceful here in the evenings and nights. 6. There is a washing machine and it works well. Washing powder is already available. There is a folding clothes dryer in one of the rooms. 7. The Wi-Fi speed is good.

Negative: There are practically no significant drawbacks. Please note that this is the third floor without an elevator (although Ahmed volunteers to help carry heavy luggage). I highly recommend replacing plastic dinner plates with ceramic or glass ones. It's also worth buying a new frying pan. And it is advisable to change the dish washing sponges regularly, we got a very old one.
