Steeped in charm, authentic & perfectly preserved, this picturesque village in the Haut Mâconnais, nestled in the hollow of the green Guye valley (and its fish-filled river) at the foot of a gentle mountain sheltering a vast wild forest massif (with a "panoramic belvedere" at its summit), benefits from a magnificent rural & natural setting, combining vast plateaus of bocage & vineyards, and has a biotope protected in ZNIEFF for its fauna & flora richness ("limestone lawns", area equipped a dedicated discovery trail).
